Ning Lan, our MC, just wants to earn money so that he can survive. Somehow, he got spotted on the streets and ended up joining a boy band about to debut.

We’ll see Ning Lan navigating his life as a replacement boy band member, and how life can really be unfair sometimes.

The author has also named the book in relation to the name of the character (she does this for a few other books as well). The Lan in Ning Lan means waves, and the book is named 逐浪 (how pretty).
